saona island It is located in the extreme southeast of the Dominican Republic. It is part of the Parque Nacional del Este and is known for its mangroves, coral reefs, and palm-fringed beaches, such as La Palmilla. The island's shallow waters are home to starfish. Mano Juan is a sleepy fishing village near the Laguna de los Flamencos, with colorful huts and a turtle sanctuary. To the west is the Cotubanamá Cave, with pre-Columbian rock art.

catalina Island, Also called Ikiita Island, it is an island that is located in the Caribbean Sea a few kilometers southeast of Hispaniola Island in the south of the province of La Romana that is part of the Dominican Republic. From La Romana it takes half an hour to get to Isla Catalina.

The island is named after the navigator Christopher Columbus on his voyage through the area in May 1494. It is a popular tourist destination and frequented by some Caribbean cruise ships.

palmilla: Secluded, undeveloped, with white sand dotted with palm trees and facing a natural turquoise pool, Palmilla is the quintessential Caribbean paradise. Palmilla is part of the Cotubanamá National Park and you can visit it on any excursion to Isla Saona. Snorkel, swim, and admire the starfish resting on the bottom. To get here you can rent boats in Bayahibe or La Romana, you can also go by catamaran or speedboat.
